How It All Began
For many years, I carried wounds of rejection that shaped how I viewed myself and my relationship with God. Later, seasons of loss, delayed dreams, and unexpected disappointments exposed those hidden struggles and forced me to confront what had been buried beneath the surface. What felt like breaking points became turning points as God began a deeper work of healing and transformation in my life. Through those experiences, He taught me to trust His promises, surrender my plans, and anchor my identity in Him rather than in my circumstances.
Out of that journey, God birthed Sheila Arrington Ministries, a ministry devoted to helping women deepen their relationship with God, heal from life’s challenges, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose.
I am also the founder of the Purposely Designed Women’s Conference, which has been encouraging and equipping women for more than seven years. Alongside my husband, I have had the privilege of leading marriage small groups and investing in couples seeking to build Christ-centered relationships.
Recently, I was honored to receive the Mother of Zion Award in recognition of serving as a spiritual mother and mentor to women in both the United States and the United Kingdom. One of my greatest joys is encouraging women to recognize their value, embrace their calling, and experience the freedom that comes through a deeper relationship with Christ.
I believe every woman has a story, a purpose, and a calling. No matter what season you are walking through, God is still writing your story—and His plans for you are good.
My prayer is that every woman who encounters this ministry leaves with greater hope, deeper faith, and the confidence to walk boldly in God’s purpose for her life.
