Hey Beloved of God,

God is preparing his people to be carriers of his anointing and do great things.

He has shut us up to set us up!

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Does your journey seem insurmountable? Is there a mountain that seems too steep to climb? Does everything feel just too weighty? Have you found yourself saying.. God, what is this all about?

One thing you must understand what you’re going through is significant.

Don’t be alarmed! God got you and yours!

I get it because I am climbing some pretty steep mountains, at times I feel exhausted. I am working hard to stay focused and engaged. I want to reach my destination! I want to accomplish my assignment! Phew!

But hold on… I have some good news to share. The Lord recently put on my heart that this struggle, this journey, this climb, this weight is not for the faint of heart.

But.. because you’re in it, you can do it. We are never given more than we can bear; it’s for the formidable, and that’s you! Run your race and endure the climb. It’s your purpose and destiny!

It is what God has appointed and anointed for you!

Did you know purpose and destiny have people attached to them? It’s not just your story. It’s about a people, a tribe, and nations that we carry inside us. Yep! I said nations.

Long ago, Joshua ( Joshua 4:1-7) told each tribe to appoint a man to pick out a stone, and that stone was to represent what God had done for them. They were stones of remembrance.

Those stones represented struggles, promises, and blessings that would be remembered and shared throughout generations.

How did each man perceive the depth and scope of their circumstance? What stories will they share?

I can’t help but wonder what kind of stones were chosen. Did the men chose hastily or pondered over what is exactly was the best stone to represent what God had done?

As you gather your memorial stones, what do they represent and how will you share your stories?
